Indoor pools evaporate enormous moisture. Ventilation controls humidity and chlorine, but exhaust carries away heat and latent energy. An ERV recovers both.
What works
- Enthalpy recovery (heat plus moisture) is ideal, it returns humidity energy to the space.
- Corrosion-resistant materials (stainless or polymer) survive chlorinated air.
- Rotary or plate both used; wheels are compact for large natatoriums.
Impact
