Counterflow Plate Heat Exchanger

UN counterflow plate heat exchanger arranges the two air streams in opposite directions through a stack of thin metal plates, maximizing the temperature gradient and therefore the sensible heat-recovery efficiency (typically 70–85%, higher than cross-flow designs).
